Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta
  • 200 g Vienna sausages
  • 150 g gherkins
  • 200 ml broth
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp herb melted cheese
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • fried onions
  • Cheese, grated
  • n. B. Oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain. Meanwhile, dice the onion, sausages, and gherkins. Add a little oil to a pan and sauté the diced onion until translucent. Then add the sausages and fry until lightly browned. Add the gherkins and mix everything with 1 tablespoon of tomato paste. Then stir in 200 ml of stock. Then add the processed cheese, ketchup, and mustard and mix everything into a creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss with the sauce. Add a few fried onions to the pan, if desired. Then sprinkle the grated cheese over the pan and simmer everything with the lid closed for about 5 minutes on medium heat.
