Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g spiral noodles
- 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed, approx. 500 g
- 15 g tomato paste
- 15 g ajvar
- 200 g mushrooms
- 4 vine tomatoes
- 100 g olives, stuffed with peppers, possibly pickled from a jar
- 1 jar Puszta salad
- 100 ml water
- 3 tsp vegetable stock powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
with olives, tomatoes and mushrooms, vegan
Bring a large pot of water to a boil, sufficient for the pasta. In the meantime, wash the tomatoes and dice them. Trim and slice the mushrooms. Wash the olives if necessary, or drain any pickled olives. Place the passata in a large pot, mix with the ajvar, tomato paste, water, and stock, and bring to a boil. Add the tomatoes, mushrooms, undrained puszta lettuce, and olives, and simmer gently for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and stir it into the tomato sauce. Let it stand for about 5 minutes, then serve.
