Pasta salad 'Hawaii'

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 pineapple or 1 can, drained
  • 7 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 g pasta (e.g. croissants)
  • salt water
  • 3 cups of mozzarella balls (minis)
  • 400 g cooked ham, sliced
  • 1 tsp pepper berries, pink, pink
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • possibly parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

for children to prepare well

Peel the pineapple, remove the core, and cut the flesh into bite-sized pieces. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the pineapple in batches on all sides. Season with salt and pepper, and let cool. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain, refresh, and let drain. Drain the mozzarella balls. Cut the ham into bite-sized strips. Crush or roughly chop the peppercorns, mix with lemon juice and the remaining oil (5-6 tablespoons), season with salt and pepper. Combine all prepared ingredients in a large bowl. Serve garnished with parsley, if desired.
