Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g pasta
- 1 can of corn
- 2 jar mushrooms
- 2 bell peppers, red
- 350 g pickled gherkins
- 200 g cooked ham
- 2 cloves garlic
- 150 ml oil
- 100 ml cucumber vinegar from the pickle jar
- 150 ml ketchup
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- n. B. herbs, fresh
- 2 tsp liquid sweetener, optional
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
with peppers, corn, mushrooms, cucumbers and ham
Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions, drain, and let cool. Drain the corn and mushrooms, then cut the ham, cucumbers, and bell peppers into small pieces. Place everything in a bowl. For the sauce, combine the oil, ketchup, and vinegar in a bowl. I always use the vinegar from the pickle jar. It tastes better. Add the spices and the crushed garlic cloves. You can also add a few herbs. If you don’t quite like the sour taste of the vinegar and ketchup, you can tone it down with 2 teaspoons of sweetener, but it’s not necessary. Mix everything thoroughly and adjust the seasoning to taste.
