Leek – sausage – tomato sauce

Clean and rinse the leek, and slice into rings. Peel and dice the onion. Dice the sausage. Heat butter and olive oil in a saucepan. Add the sausage cubes and fry briefly over high heat. Add the onion and leek and sauté over medium heat with the lid closed for about 5 minutes. Increase the heat slightly, add the chopped tomatoes, and stir everything together. Bring to a boil briefly and season with salt, pepper, and tomato paste. A very tasty and inexpensive dish. We serve it with spiral pasta.
