Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500g spaghetti
- 250 g bacon, diced
- 3 bell peppers, 1 each red, yellow, green
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- some salt
- some pepper, mixed, from the mill
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling, lightly salted water until al dente. Halve the bell peppers, deseed, rinse, and cut into strips. Heat the olive oil in a large pan and fry the bacon cubes until crispy. Add the bell pepper strips and sauté. Season with a little salt, carefully (the bacon is also salted), and a few turns of freshly ground pepper. Once the spaghetti is al dente, drain it, add it to the pan while still dripping wet, and toss with the bell pepper strips and bacon.
