Pasta sauce à la Verena

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 small onions, diced or sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 250 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 jar tomato sauce (large Napoli-style jar)
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • n. B. Seasoning mix for pizza
  • salt and pepper
  • 400 g pasta
  • n. B. cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

quick and uncomplicated, but very tasty

Cook the pasta in boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain through a sieve. Meanwhile, sauté the onions and garlic in a pan. Add the mushrooms, season lightly with salt, and fry briefly. Add the corn and fry. Now add the tomato sauce (half of the large jar is enough for me, but feel free to experiment) and bring to a gentle boil. Add the cream cheese and stir until it thickens with the sauce. Season to taste. Arrange on plates and serve hot. Offer the grated cheese at the table.
