simple, delicious and ready in no time, ideal for children

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Cut the bacon and onions into small cubes. Fry the bacon cubes, with the rind on if you like, in the oil until crispy or brown. Add the diced onions to the bacon and fry briefly. After the pasta is cooked, drain the water and put the pasta in a pot. Add the bacon and onions to the pasta along with the fat from the frying, stir, and season with salt and pepper. On the plate, the pasta is topped with Parmesan cheese and a generous dash of Maggi, if you like. We serve it with a leaf salad, but cucumber or tomato salad also goes well. All the children in our area love this simple and inexpensive dish.
