Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 chicken breast fillets
  • some oil
  • 400 g pasta
  • 200 g cream
  • 100 g spinach, young
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. chili salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the onion and garlic and dice. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season to taste. Heat a little oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic. Once the onions are translucent, add the chicken and cook on a higher heat. Meanwhile, heat the water for the pasta and cook it. When the meat is cooked through, deglaze with the cream and reduce the heat to low. Add the spinach (if you prefer a bit more sauce, save some of the pasta water and add it to the pan later). Drain the cooked pasta, add it to the pan, and mix everything together. Season to taste and serve. Tip: The pasta is even more delicious if you add some quartered cherry tomatoes before serving.
