Pasta with dried tomatoes and basil

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g pasta
  • 10 tomatoes, dried, without oil
  • 1 tomato(s), diced
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 tsp Pesto Genovese
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • some basil, chopped
  • 250 ml tomato juice
  • Water (salt water)

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan and sauté the diced onions and chopped garlic. Slice the sun-dried tomatoes and add them to the pan with the diced tomatoes. Sauté briefly, reduce the heat to low, deglaze with the tomato juice, and simmer. Add 1 teaspoon of pesto to the mixture and stir. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted water and drain. Arrange everything on plates and serve.
