Pasta with garlic and breadcrumbs

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g pasta of your choice
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • 1 chili pepper(s), spiciness to taste
  • 6 tbsp, heaped breadcrumbs
  • ½ organic lemon(s), zest
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. In the meantime, deseed the chili and slice into fine strips. Peel and thinly slice the garlic. Finely grate the lemon zest. When the pasta is al dente, drain. Place the pan over medium heat and heat the olive oil. Add the garlic and chili and fry for a few minutes, stirring frequently. After a few minutes, add the breadcrumbs and fry over medium heat, stirring frequently, until golden brown. Add the lemon zest, season with salt and pepper, and stir in the pasta. Serve immediately.
