Spaghetti with salt and oil

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small red chili pepper(s)
  • ½ bunch parsley, flat
  • ¼ bunch basil
  • 1 lemon(s) (organic)
  • 0.2 liters of olive oil, good
  • 1 piece(s) of butter (approx. 20 g)
  • 500g spaghetti

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 17 minutes

Cook the spaghetti in salted water as usual. In the meantime, peel the garlic and thinly slice it (removing the green sprout in the middle if necessary). Deseed the chili and also thinly slice it. Roughly chop the parsley and basil and sprinkle the lemon zest over it. Then heat the olive oil and butter in a pan and lightly sauté the garlic and chili. Then add the herbs and lemon zest. Toss briefly. Add the spaghetti (a little of the cooking water is fine). Mix everything well in the pan and serve. Good Grana Padano goes well with it, of course.
