Pasta with pesto, snow peas and bacon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (e.g. bavette or linguini)
  • 1 jar Sicilian pesto
  • 100 g diced ham (Katenschinken)
  • 250 g sugar snap peas
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • Herbs of Provence
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Parmesan

Quick recipe, fast food for connoisseurs

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Wash the snow peas, heat the olive oil in a pan, and sauté the prosciutto. Then add the snow peas, fry briefly, and season with sugar, salt, pepper, and Provençal herbs. Drain the pasta and toss with the pesto. Serve the pesto pasta on plates and add the vegetables. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
