Lamb's lettuce with fried mushrooms and feta cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g lamb’s lettuce
  • 4 large mushrooms or brown caps
  • 150 g sheep’s cheese
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g ground walnuts or hazelnuts
  • Vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • Oil (nut oil)
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs as desired
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Spin the washed lamb’s lettuce dry and arrange decoratively on 4 plates. Chop the mushrooms and fry in a tablespoon of butter until light brown. Cut the feta cheese into fairly small cubes. Beat the egg, toss the feta cheese cubes in it, then toss them in the ground nuts. Fry the cubes in a little butter over low heat until the nuts have taken on some color. Arrange the mushrooms and cheese cubes on the salad. Mix the vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, and herbs into a sauce and drizzle over the salad.
