Pasta with rocket and lime

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300g spaghetti
  • some salt
  • 150 g arugula
  • 2 onions
  • 75 g bacon, cubes or strips
  • ¼ liter vegetable broth, instant
  • 125 g cream, liquid
  • 2 tbsp Flour, Instant
  • 4 tbsp water, cold
  • some pepper, white
  • some lime juice
  • 2 tbsp oil, neutral

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Fry the bacon in a pan with 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat until crispy. Peel the onions, cut into eighths, and fry them in a pan with 1 tablespoon of oil until crispy. Wash the arugula, spin dry, and roughly chop. Bring the stock and cream to a boil, mix the flour with the water, and add it. Bring back to a boil, season with salt, pepper, and lime juice. Stir in the arugula. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the instructions until al dente. Serve the pasta in portions with the sauce, onions, and bacon.
