Ingredients

  • 1 role Butter puff pastry
  • Cinnamon sugar
  • Dark couverture

Instructions

  • We don't only have these little pastries at Christmas. In our bakeries they are called pig ears.
  • I had a roll of butter puff pastry, so I didn't use any additional butter for spreading. Unroll and smooth the puff pastry. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. With simple puff pastry, coat the dough with melted butter and then sprinkle it on it.
  • Now the dough is rolled up and folded tightly from both sides towards the middle. When the two halves of the dough meet in the middle, they are placed on top of each other. Then about 0.5 cm thick slices are cut off.
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the oven at 180 ° C (convection) for about 12-15 minutes. Let cool a little and then dip the tips in chocolate. Now the couverture just has to set and these delicious cookies are ready to be eaten.
