Puff Pastry Rolls with Cinnamon Sugar

  • 1 Puff pastry roll
  • 40 g Butter
  • 120 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon, or more
  1. Mix the sugar with the cinnamon and vanilla sugar. Melt the butter. Roll the puff pastry apart.
  2. Brush the puff pastry with the butter and sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon sugar. Roll up the dough from the short side as tightly as possible.
  3. Use a sharp knife (I always use a steak knife) to cut into 1.5 cm thick slices. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven (electric oven: 200 ° C / fan oven: 175 ° C) for approx. 12 – 15 minutes.
