Pea Soup with Prawns

The perfect pea soup with prawns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Kg Peas frozen
  • 1 pole Leek
  • 250 g Potatoes
  • 250 g Carrots
  • 1 Onion
  • 250 g Shrimp
  • Garlic Butter
  • 1,5 liter Vegetable broth
  • 50 ml Cream
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • Dried marjoram
  1. Peel and chop the potatoes, peel and dice the onions, cut the carrots into slices and the leek into rings, sauté everything in oil and deglaze with the broth, season with salt, pepper, marjoram and nutmeg and cook for approx. 20 min. Simmer.
  2. Now add the peas and let everything simmer for another 10 minutes, stir in the cream and use a hand blender to roughly make a soup.
  3. Fry the prawns in the garlic butter for approx. 3 minutes on each side.
  4. Put the pea soup on a plate and serve with the prawns on top.
