Peach and blackberry crumble

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large peaches, ripe
  • 250 g blackberries, ripe
  • 185 g brown sugar
  • 125 g flour
  • 125 g oat flakes
  • 150 g butter, diced
  • 3 pinches of cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Preheat the oven to 190°C (top/bottom heat). Halve and pit the peaches. Halve the halved peaches again and cut each into three pieces. Rinse the blackberries under cold water and drain well. Mix 60g of sugar with the cinnamon in a bowl and fold in the fruit well. Sift the flour into another bowl and stir in the remaining sugar, then stir in the oats. Use your fingers to knead the butter pieces into the mixture until it forms crumbles. Spread the fruit in a greased baking dish and sprinkle the crumbles on top. Place the baking dish on the middle rack and bake the crumble for about 30 minutes until golden brown. Let the crumble cool slightly before serving.
