Peach chutney

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 800 g peach(s)
  • 400 g shallot(s)
  • 3 red chili peppers
  • 50 g raisins
  • 75 g sugar
  • 250 ml vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • Salt
  • 1 liter of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the peaches in boiling water for 30 seconds, remove, rinse, and peel. Pit the peaches and cut into small pieces. Peel the shallots, halve them, and slice them thinly. Wash the chili peppers, slit them lengthwise, remove the seeds, and chop very finely. Place them in a saucepan with the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil over medium heat, and simmer for 5 minutes. Add 1 liter of water and simmer uncovered over low heat for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. Add a little more water if necessary.
