Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g fig(s), dried
  • 250 ml water
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar, lighter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 170 g sugar
  • 2 g mustard flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 43 minutes

perfect with cheese, makes approx. 460 g

Chop the figs and place them in a small saucepan. Add the water, balsamic vinegar, salt, and sugar to the chopped figs. Bring everything to a boil in the pan and then reduce the heat to low. Simmer for another 10 minutes. Add the mustard flour and puree. It goes well with savory dishes such as bacon-wrapped goat’s cheese. Makes approximately 460 g.
