Peach punch with buttermilk

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 12 peach(s), ripe, soft
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 6 cl rum, white
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • 4 cl brandy (peach brandy)
  • 1 bottle of wine, white or rosé
  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine
  • 1 liter buttermilk

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Pit the peaches and dice them. Place them in a large punch bowl and mix with the lemon juice, sugar, brandy, and rum. Let it steep for at least 20 minutes. Then pour the wine over it. Just before serving, add the sparkling wine and buttermilk. Strawberries, for example, also taste delicious in the punch instead of the peaches.
