Peaches with whiskey cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 100 g cream
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • n. B. sugar
  • 4 cl whiskey
  • 6 peach(s), ripe and juicy
  • 1 tbsp pistachios, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

fresh peaches with a quark cream cheese cream flavored with whiskey

Peel and dice the peaches. Scrape out the vanilla pod. Whip the cream until stiff. Combine the quark with the cream cheese, the vanilla bean seeds, sugar to taste, and whiskey. Fold in the whipped cream. Place 2/3 of the peach cubes into 4 dessert bowls and spread the whiskey cream on top. Garnish with the remaining peach cubes and chopped pistachios. This dessert is not as sweet and gets a slightly bitter flavor from the whiskey. You can also use brandy.
