Peanut Butter Oreo Brownies
Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Batter: Combine the melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract and beat until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and continue beating. Then combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt and sift them over the butter and sugar mixture. Stir everything thoroughly together. Roughly crumble about 10 Oreo cookies, add them to the batter, and mix in. Fill a lightly greased, ovenproof dish (I use a 20x20cm baking sheet) with the batter and spread it evenly. Bake in the middle rack of the oven for about 30 minutes, then let it cool completely. Meanwhile, prepare the topping: Beat the butter, peanut butter, and vanilla extract until fluffy. Add the cream and, while continuing to beat, slowly sift in the powdered sugar through a sieve. Spread the mixture over the cooled brownies and decorate with the cookies.
