Beat the butter and peanut butter until fluffy. Add the vanilla seeds and sugar. Continue beating for about 5 minutes, until the sugar is dissolved. Beat in the egg. Mix and sift the flour and baking powder. Stir into the butter mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts. Using a teaspoon and a round cookie cutter (about 5 cm in diameter), place smooth, 1 cm-high mounds of dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving about 3 cm between each mound. Sprinkle with praline and press down lightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius on the middle rack for 12-14 minutes. Dip the cooled cookies slightly in melted chocolate coating.
