Pear-Amaretto Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg pear(s), peeled and weighed
  • 100 ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 400 ml orange juice
  • 750 g gelling sugar
  • 5 tbsp Amaretto
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash the pears, halve them, remove the cores, and cut the flesh into small pieces. Mix with all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook for at least 4-6 minutes, then test for settling. Remove the cinnamon and vanilla and puree everything. Pour into prepared twist-off jars while still very hot and seal.
