Pear and Cranberry Jam

The perfect pear and cranberry jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 720 g Pears, peeled and roughly diced
  • 250 g Fresh cranberries
  • 1 Pc. Lemon
  • 0,5 tsp Cinammon
  • 2 cl Williams pear brandy or amaretto
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
  1. Put the pear cubes, cranberries, cinnamon, schnapps and lemon juice in a large saucepan. Stir in the preserving sugar. Let the juice steep for about 2 hours.
  2. Bring to the boil and let it simmer for about 4 – 5 minutes. Process with the hand blender to the desired consistency. Immediately pour into prepared jam jars and close tightly. Turn the glasses upside down for a few minutes, then turn them over and let them cool.
