Pear and Cranberry Jam
The perfect pear and cranberry jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 720 g Pears, peeled and roughly diced
- 250 g Fresh cranberries
- 1 Pc. Lemon
- 0,5 tsp Cinammon
- 2 cl Williams pear brandy or amaretto
- 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
- Put the pear cubes, cranberries, cinnamon, schnapps and lemon juice in a large saucepan. Stir in the preserving sugar. Let the juice steep for about 2 hours.
- Bring to the boil and let it simmer for about 4 – 5 minutes. Process with the hand blender to the desired consistency. Immediately pour into prepared jam jars and close tightly. Turn the glasses upside down for a few minutes, then turn them over and let them cool.
