Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 kg pear(s)
  • 1 pack of citric acid
  • 2 tsp gingerbread spice
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Winter jam

Peel and core the pears, and chop them in a blender. Place them in a large pot and combine with the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then pour into jars, seal the jars, and let stand upside down for 1 hour. It also tastes great as a cookie filling.
