Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g pear(s) (very ripe, preferably Williams), diced
- 500 g gelling sugar
- ½ lemon(s), grated peel
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 carnation(s)
- 2 pieces of candied ginger, finely chopped
- ½ tsp ginger
- 50 ml water
- 2 tbsp pear spirit (Williams schnapps)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a stainless steel pot and let it steep overnight. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly. Test for settling! Pour into hot, rinsed jars and seal.
