Penne Alla Vodka (penne with Vodka Tomato Sauce)
The perfect penne alla vodka (penne with vodka tomato sauce) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Tomato sauce without pieces
- 2 Onions
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 bunch Peterili
- 100 g Parma ham
- 30 ml Vodka
- 100 ml Cream
- 500 g Penne
- Salt
- Pepper
- Grated Parmesan
- Cook the penne in plenty of salted water until al dente.
- In the meantime, peel and dice the onions. Wash the parsley, shake dry and finely chop without stalks. Cut the ham into strips.
- Heat the butter in a pan and fry the onions in it. Add the ham strips and sauté briefly. Deglaze with the vodka.
- Add the cream and tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and simmer for about 5 minutes over medium heat. Finally stir in the parsley.
- Drain the penne, drain briefly and serve mixed with the sauce. Serve the extra Parmesan.
