Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g penne or other pasta
  • salt water
  • 500 g broccoli, fresh or frozen
  • 350 g hollandaise sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 handful of cheese (Gouda or Emmental), grated
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth, instant
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water as usual. In the meantime, cut the broccoli into florets. Add them to the pan with a little stock and simmer for a few minutes. They should be cooked until tender, but not mushy. Drain the cooked pasta and return it to the pot. Drain the broccoli through a sieve. Add it to the pot with the pasta. Prepare the hollandaise sauce according to the package instructions or your own recipe and add it to the pot. Mix everything well. Season with salt and pepper. Then add the grated cheese and wait until it melts and starts to form strings. Turn the stovetop back on briefly for this.
