Pepper and tomato spread with Icelandic-style cream cheese

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g cream cheese (Icelandic-style skyr)
  • ½ bell pepper(s), red or orange
  • ½ carrot(s)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste, possibly 1 tbsp more
  • 3 tbsp chives, fresh, chopped
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • e.g. chili powder
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with carrot

Wash, deseed, and finely dice the bell pepper. Wash and finely dice the carrot. Mix the Icelandic cream cheese with tomato paste, bell peppers, carrots, and chives and season to taste. Serve in bowls. Tastes great on bread and rolls, as well as with vegetable strips.
