Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g minced beef
- 100 g bacon, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, red or yellow
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 onion(s)
- 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
- some mustard
- some pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Wash the peppers, remove the cores, and quarter each pepper. Combine the minced meat with the mustard, pepper, ketchup, finely chopped onion, and breadcrumbs, and stuff the pepper quarters. Wrap each quarter with a slice of bacon and secure it horizontally with a wooden skewer. Grill on a hot grill for about 20 minutes, turning occasionally (this works best if the skewers are held horizontally). Serve with fresh baguette and a delicious tzatziki or garlic sauce.
