Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 handfuls of peppermint
  • 1 liter of boiling water
  • 3 lemons, sliced
  • 1 kg sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 3 days; Total time approx. 3 days 10 minutes

Basis for ice cream or refreshing drinks

Place the peppermint leaves in a bowl or pot, add the lemon slices, and pour boiling water over everything. The peppermint leaves should be completely covered with water. Let it steep in a cool place for 3-4 days. Then strain the mixture and simmer the liquid with the sugar for 10-15 minutes until it becomes a syrup.
