Persian Style Omelette

The perfect persian style omelette recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Eggs
  • 10 Date dried
  • 125 ml Milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chili
  • Cinammon
  1. Halve, core and flatten the dates.
  2. Mix the eggs with the milk and season with salt, pepper and chilli
  3. Melt the butter in a pan, fry the dates briefly and then add the eggs.
  4. Turn the heat down and put a lid on the pan. Since you cannot turn the omelette, let it harden and make sure that the heat is not too high, otherwise it will burn.
  5. Finally dust the omelette with cinnamon
  6. Tastes great with flatbread. For breakfast it is enough for 4 people, as a main course also for one person 🙂
