Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • salt water
  • 200 g pesto rosso (from Barilla)
  • 200 ml cream
  • 250 g cheese, grated
  • e.g. zucchini
  • e.g. tomato(s)
  • e.g. bell pepper(s)
  • n. B. onion(s)
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water for a few minutes, until half cooked (no longer, or the pasta will become too soft later). Then remove from the water. Depending on your taste, sauté onions, peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, etc., in olive oil. Then add the pesto rosso and cream. Bring to a simmer, then season with salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika to taste. Pour the sauce and pasta into a gratin dish and mix well (by hand if necessary). Sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes.
