Coconut macaroons with quark

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 65 g quark
  • 200 g desiccated coconut

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, adding the sugar and vanilla sugar. Then add the quark, a pinch of salt, and the desiccated coconut. Using two teaspoons, place small mounds onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes.
