Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 45 minutes
Whisk the sugar and egg yolks with the hot water until frothy. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold in. Then carefully fold in the remaining ingredients. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes. Once cooled, divide the cake base in half. Only one base is needed. Mix the jelly with the cold water and let stand for 10 minutes. Add 4 tablespoons of sugar and heat gently (do not boil), then let cool. Add the quark and cheese to the jelly with 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1 packet of vanilla sugar. Then carefully fold in the cream whipped with 1 packet of vanilla sugar and pour the mixture onto the base. It is best to leave it in the refrigerator overnight to set.
