Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 kg cucumber(s), small (pickling cucumbers)
  • 1 cup vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp spice mix (canning spice mix)
  • possibly chili pepper(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Quick preparation

Combine everything except the cucumbers in a large pot and bring to a boil. Once the broth is boiling, add the cucumbers and cook, stirring occasionally, until all the cucumbers have changed color. Then layer the cucumbers in jars, cover with the broth, screw on the lids tightly, and let them rest for 1 day. Then, enjoy.
