Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 180 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 100 g oat flakes, melting
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 lemon(s) or lime
  • Fat and breadcrumbs for the form

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cream the butter with sugar and salt until fluffy. Then beat in each egg thoroughly, one at a time. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir it into the foam along with the oats. Grease a loaf pan and dust with breadcrumbs. Pour the batter into the pan and bake at 190°C (top/bottom heat) for about 60 minutes. In the meantime, squeeze the oranges and lemons and mix the juice with the powdered sugar. Brush this mixture onto the hot cake until all the liquid is absorbed.
