Pickled Sweet and Sour Garlic

The perfect pickled sweet and sour garlic recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 750 g Fresh garlic
  • 5 tbsp Honey
  • 0,25 liter Wine vinegar
  • 6 Pc. Bay leaves
  • 10 Pc. Allspice grains
  • 20 Pc. Peppercorns
  • 5 Pc. Ginger about 1 cm
  • 1 Pc. Dried chili peppers / glass
  • 1 liter White wine dry
  1. All ingredients, including the peeled garlic, are placed in a saucepan and filled with water and wine (50:50), just covered.
  2. Bring the whole thing to a boil, switch off the heat source after 30 seconds.
  3. The garlic is poured hot into cleaned twist-off jars and covered with the marinade. Close the lid tightly. That’s it.
  4. 4th tip; Soak the garlic cloves in lukewarm water for 30 minutes. The effort of peeling is thus simplified many times over.
