Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 600 g pike (fillets)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 100 g butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 g cheese, grated (Emmental)
  • 3 eggs
  • Flour for breading
  • Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

quick and tasty – Angler’s dream

Wash the pike fillets and pat dry, drizzle with lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Combine the grated cheese and eggs. Coat the pike fillets first in flour and then in the egg and cheese mixture. Fry in approximately 100g butter until golden brown on both sides and serve immediately. Serve with wild rice and a tasty vegetable. Tip: This also works with any other fish fillet.
