Pineapple and onion salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can pineapple
  • 4 large onions
  • 1 small jar of Miracle Whip
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Mix pineapple juice and Miracle Whip with lemon juice. Season to taste. Slice the onion into rings and cook in boiling water for about 5 minutes. Then drain in a sieve. Add the onions and pineapple to the sauce and let it sit in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. A somewhat unusual combination, but it tastes great during barbecue season.
