Ingredients
- 1 Can Pineapple in pieces, collecting the juice
- 200 g rice (parboiled or basmati)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 / -2 -1 tsp curry powder
Instructions
- Drain the pineapple, collect the juice and fill up with as much water as 500ml. Put the liquid in a saucepan with salt and the curry powder. Add the rice, bring to the boil and cook on low to medium setting for 12-14 minutes. In the meantime, dice the pineapple pieces small, keep a few pieces for decoration. When the rice has finished cooking, add the diced pineapple pieces. And let it steep for 2-3 minutes. Loosen up and decorate with the remaining pineapple pieces. I like to eat sliced chicken or broiled chicken fillets with it
