Ingredients for 1 servings:
- ½ liter of beer (wheat beer, other is fine), lukewarm
- 500 g flour
- 1 cube of yeast
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
makes a thick base
Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm beer. Add salt and sugar. Then, using a dough hook, add enough flour until the dough no longer sticks to the edges and is nice and smooth (depending on the beer, so you may need more flour). Let the dough rise for about 60 minutes. Knead again and roll it out on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at the highest temperature (250°C or higher) for about 1-2 minutes. This will create a fine crust, and the dough will remain nice and dry, preventing it from becoming watery. Top with desired toppings. Return to the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes. The quantities given are sufficient for one large baking sheet.
