Pizza dough with sourdough

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g wheat flour type 1050
  • 16 g fresh yeast
  • 2 tbsp sourdough
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 225 ml water, lukewarm
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Mix 200 ml of lukewarm water with the sugar and dissolve the yeast in it. Combine the flour and salt, add the sourdough starter, and mix well with the yeast water. Only now add the olive oil and knead thoroughly for about 10 minutes, ideally in a food processor. Add the remaining water if needed. Let the dough rise for about 2 hours. Top with the desired toppings and bake in the upper third of a preheated oven at 250 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes. The dough will rise beautifully and will fill one baking sheet.
