Plaice Fillet
The perfect plaice fillet recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 Plaice fillets
- 1 Lemon juice
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 Tablespoon Flour
- 1 Eggs
- Oil
- 2 Shallots
- 200 ml White wine
- 150 g Sour cream
- 2 Egg yolk
- Wash the plaice fillets, pat dry with salt and pepper and drizzle with lemon juice.
- Put some flour on one plate and whisk the egg on another plate.
- Now roll the fillets in the flour, knock them off and then in the egg.
- Heat a pan with oil and fry the fillets on both sides, remove and keep warm.
- Peel the shallots, chop them up and put them in the fish pan with a little oil, deglaze with the white wine and simmer a little.
- Now stir the sour cream until creamy, season with salt and pepper and add to the fish stock, simmer for 7 minutes while stirring constantly.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the egg yolks.
