- chili flakes
- 1 shot of milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Finely chop the onion and garlic – the finer the better. Place the minced meat, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, and spices in a bowl and mix together. Don’t skimp on the paprika and chili flakes. The 200g of cheese is usually sold in slabs. Cut this in half lengthwise to create two slabs. Halve the meat mixture. Place each half on cling film and press flat or roll. Then place a thin slab of cheese on top and fold it shut. Form everything tightly so that no cheese is visible and place it in a hot pan that has already been drizzle with plenty of olive oil. Fry on all sides for about 25 minutes over medium heat. Serve with: potato wedges/fries, fresh onion rings, and ajvar.
