Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg plum(s)
  • 250 ml multivitamin juice, red
  • 250 ml red wine, sweet
  • 1 kg gelling sugar 2:1
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), pulp

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Refined with red wine and vanilla

Wash, halve, and pit the plums. Squeeze the lemon. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, add vanilla to taste (I use a vanilla bean grinder, but you can also add the seeds of one vanilla bean), and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for five to ten minutes, stirring occasionally. The plums should be soft. Purée everything with a hand blender until smooth and homogenous. While still hot, pour into jam jars, seal tightly, and turn upside down.
