Plum Cake with Butter Crumble

  • 180 g Sugar
  • 1 pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pck. Baking powder
  • 300 g Flour

  • 1,5 kg Plums

  • 120 g Butter
  • 140 g Sugar
  • 1 pck. Vanilla sugar
  1. Make a batter from the ingredients mentioned above. First stir the eggs with the mixer at the highest level until foamy. Add the other ingredients. Spread the dough evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  2. Wash and stone the plums and place on the dough. Press lightly.
  3. Make flour, sugar and the vanilla sugar streusel from butter (room temperature). This is best done with your hands. Spread the streusel over the plums.
  4. Bake for one hour in a non-preheated oven.
